Alumni and Friends
We believe that alumni of campus ministry, parents, and members of the community can be great resources for students as models of lived adult faith. There are many ways you can contribute to the ministry here at the Newman Center.
1. Are you an alum of the Newman Center? We would love to hear from you and find out what you have been doing- have you recently gotten married, had a child, entered religious formation, changed jobs, moved, etc? Let us know and we will include you in the alumni updates section of our newsletter.
2. Tell us what you are doing in your job, in the church, in service to your community: We want to recognize the alumni of the Newman Center and the ways in which their life gives witness to the gospel.
3. Become a mentor: We want to put students in contact with someone who is working in their chosen field, so that alumni can share how their job becomes part of the way they live out their Christian vocation to serve God.
4. Donate to the Newman Center: We want to increase donations to ease the financial burden on the diocese.
5. Help welcome graduating students into your parishes: We want to help graduating students transition back into parishes by putting them in contact with an alumni in a parish in the city they are going to after graduation.
